They also entered two writing contests that are patiently waiting to hear back from. I was able to design my reading intervention block with all the activities coming from the Story works 3 books. The stories were educational and interesting. They led to great conversations. I have never seen a group of students so engaged into learning and exploring different types of activities that lead to the same outcome (reading for understanding).\r\n\r\nThe microphones that I used to encourage my students to do their weekly fluency was a major hit. They all were hoping that , that was the activity they would rotate to first.
