It has allowed me to purchase materials to supplement the curriculum in my classroom that may not reach some of my students in the most effective ways. I have been able to purchase leveled curriculum for daily warm-ups, functional reading, and functional math. Being able to purchase this ready-to-use curriculum has provided me with more time to provide more meaningful, direct instruction to students rather than spending most of this time preparing or creating my own materials to reach the unique needs of my students.","fullyFundedDate":1746785451955,"projectUrl":"project/special-resources-for-special-students/9285713/","projectTitle":"Special Resources for Special Students","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Erica Dhel Fulgueras","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9768633_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1726939906478","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9768633"},{"teacherId":9768633,"projectId":9006254,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation! The new charging rack and station have made a tremendous difference in our special education classroom. Before, our students' Chromebooks and AAC devices were scattered, often unplugged or tangled in cords, making it hard for them to access the tools they rely on to communicate and learn. Now, thanks to your support, we have a dedicated, organized space where devices are safely stored and consistently charged. This has made it easier for students to independently access their technology and has reduced time lost to technical issues, helping them stay more engaged in learning activities throughout the day.","fullyFundedDate":1742961570295,"projectUrl":"project/powering-potential-tech-basics-for-spec/9006254/","projectTitle":"Powering Potential: Tech Basics for Special Education","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Erica Dhel Fulgueras","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9768633_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1726939906478","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9768633"},{"teacherId":6316993,"projectId":8640920,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity. My students have really benefited from your donations, especially with the cellphone lockbox. \r\nWe use the cellphone lockbox in two ways in my classroom. First, during tests my students put their cellphones in the lockbox so that they are not distracted while taking the test. They don't have to worry about checking notifications or being tempted to cheat on the assessment. \r\nMore recently I have started using the lockbox a second way in the classroom. During notes my students put their phones in the lockbox. This way they are not distracted by notifications, videos, games, texting, or more. Students are able to focus on notetaking and trying to understand the material instead of trying to multitask their phone usage and classroom responsibilities. I asked my students to lock up their phones two days in a row. On the third day I let them keep their phones with them. Most students realized that not having their phones out during class instruction was helpful and kept their phones away without being asked. I plan on collecting cellphones in the lockbox at least once a week to remind students that it is okay to not be on their phones. My hope is that they can learn to self regulate when they should be on their phones and when they should not.\r\nThe scanners are also helpful in getting bathroom passes done more quickly.\r\nThank you again for your support. I appreciate being part of a world that is willing to support one another.","fullyFundedDate":1733184096344,"projectUrl":"project/focused-with-less-distractions/8640920/","projectTitle":"Focused with Less Distractions","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Harper","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6316993"},{"teacherId":9768633,"projectId":8806861,"letterContent":"My students have been loving and enjoying the new additions to our classroom store.
