It always amazes me how hard the students will try for a little reward. For example, my students beg to go run the track and will even do it on their own during recess because they can earn a charm bracelet and charms for running laps. This is something that, in the past, has not been a favorite activity. Earning the charms has helped motivate my students to run faster and farther. This is helping them prepare for the mile run they will have to complete in 5th grade. \r\nI also love being able to put a smelly sticker on the papers when students do well on their work. This is motivating for my students and helps them try hard and have grit. \r\nMy students take a math facts test daily. Multiplication and division facts are new to them, so I really appreciate the donation of flashcards to help them memorize their facts. They love earning incentives for passing each level. \r\nDonors Choose is a fantastic way to support teachers and students. Thank you for being a part of it.
