By consistently demonstrating our four core expectations—Safe, Kind, Respectful, and Responsible—students earn points that they can 'cash in' for exciting rewards like slime, Moshis, and stuffed animals. Since introducing these tangible incentives, we have seen a significant increase in student engagement and a noticeable shift toward positive behavior across the campus. It has been especially rewarding to watch students who previously struggled with behavior completely pivot their choices in order to reach their goals. These are powerful tools helping our students build lasting habits of excellence.\r\n\r\nWhen students saw these materials their faces were in complete shock. Our students have only been able to redeem their points for experiences like craft day one a trimester. The fact that there are tangible prizes and they are able to get them with more frequency has made a positive impact. When unboxing students were gasping with excitement and eager to know how they could obtain these rewards. This project has truly transformed our school culture; students are now more motivated than ever to go above and beyond in their work and kindness toward others. \r\n\r\nNow that our School PBIS Stores is momentarily stocked, our next step is integration on lessons of appreciation and giving and receiving. Students are learning about the gratitude of donors and assisting with student projects while being thankful to our donors. They are also learning how demonstrations of these expectations are not only causing a positive impact but also being rewarded for their positive behavior choices. Thank you once again for your generosity and for your willingness to provide these resources for our students success.","fullyFundedDate":1769177902394,"projectUrl":"project/pbis-schoolwide-incentives/9985321/","projectTitle":"PBIS Schoolwide Incentives","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Becerra","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10397595"},{"teacherId":9570604,"projectId":10061900,"letterContent":"Thank you from the bottom of my heart for providing our classroom with the cube chairs we so desperately needed! In a TK–2nd grade special education setting, \"sitting still\" is much more than a behavioral expectation—it is a physical and sensory challenge.\r\n\r\nBefore these chairs arrived, many of my students spent their energy just trying to keep their bodies upright and balanced in standard chairs. Now, the cube chairs offer a \"hug\" for their bodies, providing the deep pressure and sturdy boundaries that help them feel grounded. I have watched students who previously struggled to stay at a table for two minutes now engage in a full 10-minute small group lesson.\r\n\r\nThese chairs have transformed our floor time into a structured, safe space where my students feel secure enough to take risks in their learning. Your kindness has turned our classroom into a place where \"fitting in\" is literally and figuratively easier for every child.","fullyFundedDate":1772054847256,"projectUrl":"project/adaptive-seating-for-diverse-learners/10061900/","projectTitle":"Adaptive Seating for Diverse Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Riess","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9570604_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1723305664671","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9570604"},{"teacherId":9570604,"projectId":9847634,"letterContent":"I want to extend my deepest gratitude for your support in bringing our \"Writing Without Fear\" project to life. In a classroom of students with diverse learning needs, the biggest hurdle to writing is often the fear of making a mistake.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students no longer see a blank page as a challenge, but as a playground. The vibrant variety of dry-erase markers has been a game-changer; providing students with the power of choice—even something as simple as picking \"neon green\" over \"blue\"—gives them a sense of agency that carries over into their work. They are now brainstorming and drafting with a level of enthusiasm I haven't seen before.\r\n\r\nThe laminating pouches have allowed me to create reusable \"cheat sheets\" and practice mats that stay clean and durable, while the TPT resources have filled our room with the visual supports my students rely on to navigate their day. You haven't just provided supplies; you've provided the tools for my students to find their voices. Thank you for believing in their potential.","fullyFundedDate":1769177904242,"projectUrl":"project/lets-make-writing-a-blast-not-a-task/9847634/","projectTitle":"\"Let's Make Writing a Blast (Not a Task)!\"","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Riess","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9570604_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1723305664671","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9570604"},{"teacherId":10107853,"projectId":9527424,"letterContent":"I wanted to extend my sincere thanks to the wonderful donors who allowed me to create my beautiful sanctuary, inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach, which emphasized that nature was the \" third teacher\". Nature fosters creativity but most of all, brings serenity and a sense of peace in my classroom. \r\nI had kept my project \"secret\" and hiding it behind a screen. Students were intrigued, and every morning they would rush to the room, excited, to see if they could peek at it. \r\nOne morning, before I opened the door, I gathered my students and told them we were finally ready for the \"big Reveal\". We came in and I pushed the screen out of the way. The students gasped in awe, and laughter filled the classroom. they all wanted to use the sanctuary right away. They have commented that this makes them feel happy and that they love their beautiful classroom and that they feel safe, which was my goal for creating this sanctuary. A few days ago, one of my student experienced the loss of his uncle and could not stop crying. I placed him inside the tent for a good while, which brought him peace and serenity. He was able to face the day and learn. \r\nWe study techniques, thanks to this corner, to help us be more resilient and confident in their abilities to learn and grow.","fullyFundedDate":1758841216428,"projectUrl":"project/sensory-sanctuary-for-special-education/9527424/","projectTitle":"Sensory Sanctuary for Special Education Students, Helping Minds Grow","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. W.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10107853_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754200969424","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10107853"},{"teacherId":9570604,"projectId":9150193,"letterContent":"I am so grateful for the communication station that has been added to our classroom.
