Share a specific classroom project or moment.\r\n Our new sensory light table has quickly become one of the most loved learning tools in our classroom. We've been using it during our literacy, math, and science centers, and it has added such a magical element to hands-on learning. One of my favorite moments so far was adding kinetic sand and letters. Students were excited to discover the letters hidden in the sand. Their curiosity sparked so many great conversations and teamwork as they experimented together.\r\n\r\nHow did your students react when they first saw the materials?\r\n The moment they saw the light table turned on, their faces lit up just as brightly. Many of them gasped or said \"wow!\" as they crowded around to explore. They immediately reached for the glowing manipulatives and began testing what they could build, stack, and create. Their excitement was pure and joyful—several students asked if we could \"keep it on forever!\"\r\n\r\nWhat are the next steps for your students on a current classroom lesson or project?\r\n We're currently working on early literacy and fine-motor development, and the light table will continue to support these goals. Students will be using letters and counting manipulatives on the table to make learning more engaging and accessible. The new resources are helping us create more opportunities for discovery, collaboration, and creativity every day.","fullyFundedDate":1757423909173,"projectUrl":"project/bright-minds-at-work-illuminating-learn/9370493/","projectTitle":"Bright Minds at Work: Illuminating Learning with Light Tables!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Delgado","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9543243"},{"teacherId":9481236,"projectId":9166027,"letterContent":"These stools have made a huge difference in our classroom by giving students the ability to move while they learn. Many children struggle with sitting still for long periods of time, and the stools allow them to wiggle, rock, and shift their bodies without causing distractions to others. This small change has helped students stay more focused during lessons, because their need for movement is being met in a positive and productive way. The stools also encourage better posture and core strength, which supports overall comfort and engagement throughout the school day.\r\n\r\nIn addition to focus and comfort, the stools have helped create a more flexible and student-centered learning environment. Students feel empowered when they are given options for how they learn best, and these stools provide them with that choice. They can transition from group work to independent work more easily, and the active seating keeps their energy directed toward learning. By supporting both movement and focus, the stools have ultimately led to stronger participation, improved attention, and a classroom where students are excited and ready to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1746785656009,"projectUrl":"project/flexible-seating-for-tk/9166027/","projectTitle":"Flexible Seating for TK","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lindo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9481236_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1751907550505","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9481236"},{"teacherId":9690848,"projectId":8922814,"letterContent":"On behalf of our transitional kindergarten/kindergarten classroom, I want to express our deepest gratitude for your generous donation of STEM toys. Your thoughtful gift has made a meaningful and lasting impact on our young learners.\r\n\r\nSince receiving the toys, our classroom has been transformed into a vibrant space full of curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. The children are naturally drawn to the building sets, manipulatives, and problem-solving activities, which have quickly become a favorite part of our daily routine. It's been incredible to see their excitement as they explore new concepts in science, technology, engineering, and math—often without even realizing they're learning!\r\n\r\nYour donation has not only enriched our curriculum but has also helped nurture essential skills such as critical thinking, perseverance, and teamwork. For many of our students, this is their first exposure to hands-on STEM learning, and it's already sparking big dreams and bright ideas.\r\n\r\nWhen the items were delivered the students smiles beamed and they felt so proud to be chosen as a class to receive these items. They were beyond excited to get the opportunity to explore learning in this way. One of the students shouted \"these are all for us?\" and could not believe the generosity of those that donated to our classroom. In addition to our daily STEM time, we also incorporated a special additional weekly Thursday \"STEM day\" to give more opportunities for students to use the materials. We are so thankful for your support in helping us build a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Your generosity is truly shaping futures, one curious mind at a time.","fullyFundedDate":1740690791577,"projectUrl":"project/stem-supplies-for-tkkindergarten-studen/8922814/","projectTitle":"STEM Supplies for TK/Kindergarten Students to Encourage My Little builders.","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Fitzgerald","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9690848_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1724775747476","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-fitzgerald-deca"},{"teacherId":9481236,"projectId":9145175,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous support in helping bring new read-aloud books into our transitional kindergarten classroom. Your donation made a meaningful impact that goes far beyond the addition of books to our shelves—it sparked a love of reading, enriched our daily learning experiences, and strengthened the foundation for our students' literacy development. With each new story introduced, we saw our young learners' faces light up with curiosity and excitement. These read-aloud sessions became a cherished part of our day, offering opportunities to explore language, build comprehension skills, and make real-world connections. Books featuring diverse characters and stories allowed our students to see themselves reflected in literature while also opening their eyes to new cultures, ideas, and perspectives.\r\n\r\nThe benefits of reading aloud at this early stage are profound and lasting. Research shows that children who are regularly read to in early childhood develop stronger vocabularies, improved listening skills, and better emotional awareness. In our classroom, we witnessed these benefits firsthand. Students became more confident in their language abilities, more eager to share their thoughts, and more engaged in discussions. Read-aloud time also created a sense of community and routine, offering a safe and welcoming space where students could learn and grow together. Thanks to your donation, our young readers are not only developing essential academic skills—they are also discovering the joy and power of stories. Your support is helping to nurture a generation of lifelong learners, and we are so grateful for the role you played in their journey.","fullyFundedDate":1742339427427,"projectUrl":"project/books-that-speak-donate-to-inspire-youn/9145175/","projectTitle":"Books that Speak: Donate to Inspire Young Voices","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lindo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9481236_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1751907550505","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9481236"},{"teacherId":9690841,"projectId":8679003,"letterContent":"I hope this message finds you well!
