My students have numerous different fidgets at their disposal to use when needed. I have also been able to support teachers and staff. For instance, I received a call from a fellow teacher that needed support with an SDC student struggling to transition from lunch to the classroom. I took a bin with different fidgets outside and was able to get the kiddo off the floor and follow me back to class. The students love exploring the fidgets. Thanks to all the donations, I have enough fidgets for students to come enjoy during recess or lunch time. What I am planning next is to support our TK students struggling with self regulation in the classroom. I plan on utilizing all the materials that I received in order to teach kiddos to self regulate by identifying their emotions and using fidgets in the calm corner in the classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1747840690264,"projectUrl":"project/mental-health/9361154/","projectTitle":"Mental Health","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Quintero","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9897240"},{"teacherId":8806959,"projectId":9057879,"letterContent":"On behalf of our classroom and the entire staff, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for your generous donation of the laminator, cardstock, and laminating sheets. These items have truly made a significant difference in how we support our students in their communication needs.\r\n\r\nFor several of our students, these visuals are vital in expressing their wants and needs, and having high-quality, durable materials is crucial to their independence. The laminator has allowed us to seal the images, making them reusable and more efficient for everyday use. The cardstock adds an extra layer of durability, ensuring that these visuals hold up to daily handling by our students.\r\n\r\nAs you can imagine, we go through a lot of laminate and paper in our classroom, and your contribution helps us continue to provide these important tools. Not only does this benefit our students by giving them more confidence in communicating, but it also helps our staff by streamlining the process of creating and maintaining these essential resources.\r\n\r\nThe positive impact of your donation is already being felt, and we are incredibly grateful for your support. Our students will be able to express themselves more clearly and feel empowered, and our staff can work more efficiently, knowing that we have the materials we need to help every student succeed.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for your generosity and for making such a meaningful difference in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1746786214359,"projectUrl":"project/advocating-for-my-students-voicing-thei/9057879/","projectTitle":"Advocating for My Students: Voicing Their Needs and Wants","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rivera","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8806959_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1741326234175","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8806959"},{"teacherId":8806959,"projectId":8716273,"letterContent":"We are incredibly grateful for your support in helping us create a more inclusive and engaging learning environment for our students.
