Last year was my first year teaching. This means that I was starting with no extra resources and just my curriculum. As the school year progressed, I realized that the curriculum alone cannot support all my students. \r\n\r\nTeachers Pay Teachers is a resource I love to use to find supplemental resources and materials to be used in addition to our school curriculum. Some examples include doing an math related escape room either before or after our test to review the material we learned in class. This makes the learning experience much more memorable, and many students have given feedback about how much they enjoyed this activity. I also love getting math games for students to play when they finish their work or for rotations. This allows the students to practice their skills. \r\n\r\nAs I continue to teach, and move to a new grade (3rd), I will continue to use your donation and funding to find even more resources and materials for my new students.","fullyFundedDate":1743017838900,"projectUrl":"project/resources-and-activities-to-deepen-learn/9107814/","projectTitle":"Resources and Activities to Deepen Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kim","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9920787"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_4729","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":663,"numTeachers":23,"percentFrplEligible":14,"percentAsian":78,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":6,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"28.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":90.6,"schoolId":4729,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Abraham Lincoln Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Abraham Lincoln Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/cupertino-union-school-district/abraham-lincoln-school/4729"}
