It's a book full of adventures, challenges, surprises and how a boy learns to keep going to survive, even when things may seem hopeless. We received new soccer balls, small practice goals, and numbered practice jerseys/pennies for our girls and boys team to use. \r\n\r\nHaving the right equipment makes a big difference when trying to work on basic soccer skills. It so much more effective when we can have enough soccer balls for each of the players to be able to get their foot on the ball, and work on passing, dribbling, shooting and ball touch drills. Many of these students have never played soccer or been a part of a sports team and have picked it up quickly. I'm so proud of the progress they have made this year.
