While having 1:1 iPads is an incredible privilege, it comes with a very common challenge: keeping them powered. Chargers are easily lost, cables break, and students often arrive at school with a \"red battery\" icon, which stops their learning before it even begins.\r\n\r\nYour donation has completely solved this problem.\r\n\r\nNow that we have dedicated charging stations in the classroom, the \"low battery anxiety\" has disappeared. Students know exactly where to go if they need power. The impact has been immediate—many students have even started leaving their iPads in the classroom overnight to charge, ensuring they are ready to go the moment the bell rings the next morning.\r\n\r\nInstead of losing valuable instructional time hunting for spare cables or sitting on the floor next to a wall outlet, my students are seated at their desks, fully charged and engaged in the lesson.\r\n\r\nThank you for recognizing that for digital learning to work, we need the power to support it. You have helped keep our classroom running smoothly!","fullyFundedDate":1756430996178,"projectUrl":"project/charge-me-up/9636046/","projectTitle":"Charge Me Up","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Calderon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9750338"},{"teacherId":9750338,"projectId":9548640,"letterContent":"I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your donation to our 2025-2026 Start Up project. \r\n\r\nTo understand how much this means to us, I want to share a little bit about where we come from. We live in a small, tight-knit rural community. We don't have big box stores around the corner; for many of us, getting access to basic educational materials is a logistical challenge. Furthermore, with many families in our area living below the poverty line, the cost of school supplies is often a burden that parents simply cannot bear.\r\n\r\nWhen the boxes arrived, it was more than just a delivery of notebooks and pencils; it was a delivery of relief.\r\n\r\nThe excitement in the room was palpable. My students were overjoyed to have fresh supplies of their own. But what touched me the most was the spirit of generosity your gift sparked in them. After passing out the materials, a few students quietly approached my desk. They asked if they could take a pencil or a notebook home to a younger sibling who didn't have any school supplies.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, I was able to say \"yes.\"\r\n\r\nYour donation did not just equip a desk; it supported entire families and lifted a weight off our community's shoulders. You have shown my students that even though we are geographically isolated, we are not invisible.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students and for helping them—and their siblings—start this school year with confidence and dignity.\r\n\r\nWith sincere gratitude,","fullyFundedDate":1755726133974,"projectUrl":"project/2025-2026-start-up/9548640/","projectTitle":"2025-2026 Start Up","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Calderon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9750338"},{"teacherId":10179016,"projectId":9599525,"letterContent":"When my students first saw the new items arrive, they were so excited! Even though many of the original items were unavailable, the pieces we did receive. The LED bubble tank, sand timer, emotions poster, and emotion-themed coloring pages have made such a positive impact in our classroom. The LED tank immediately became the centerpiece of our break corner. Students love watching the fake fish swim around, it's soothing and helps them calm down almost instantly. They are huge fans of the break area. \r\n\r\nNow, when students need a short break, they can go to the corner, flip the sand timer, and spend a few quiet minutes watching the tank, coloring, or using the emotions poster to identify how they're feeling. This small routine has made a big difference. I've noticed students returning to their seats more focused, calmer, and ready to participate again. The space gives them permission to pause and breathe, which has helped everyone feel more comfortable and supported in our classroom.\r\n\r\nThese materials may be simple, but they've created something really meaningful a calm, welcoming spot where students can manage big emotions in healthy ways. I'm so grateful to you for helping make this possible for my students.","fullyFundedDate":1755370274428,"projectUrl":"project/5-at-the-beach-a-break-corner-for-big-f/9599525/","projectTitle":"5 at the Beach: A Break Corner for Big Feelings","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Ochoa","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10179016"},{"teacherId":9548821,"projectId":8409127,"letterContent":"Thank you for helping my classroom with the items that I have used last year.
