I used them in my 6th/7th/8th grade class, as well as my 5th grade class as I taught them the fundamentals of learning how to strum, different fingering positions, and the proper lingo for how to label their ukuleles and guitars. The students have been enlightened by your contributions and I truly thank you.\r\n\r\nI have also bought a sample 6th grade curriculum and a Jazz lesson that is very informative in teaching those grades. There have also been different rhythmic activities that have been very helpful for the younger grades, as well as solfege game cards. They immediately wanted to dive in and start using them. One of the first projects we worked on was building terrariums to model ecosystems. Using the rocks and soil, along with fake plants and animals, students were able to simulate how an ecosystem functions. They worked together to arrange the layers and set up the plants and animals, creating small-scale environments that helped them visualize the balance between living and nonliving elements in nature. It was amazing to see their creativity and teamwork in action, and the project led to some thoughtful discussions about the roles of different organisms in an ecosystem.\r\n\r\nThe next steps for my students involve studying the water cycle and Earth's systems. The materials you provided will be put to use as we explore how water moves through different parts of the environment and how Earth's systems interact with one another.
