The LEGO sets immediately became one of our most used tools. We have been using them during small groups to build together, tell simple stories, and practice taking turns and sharing materials. For some students, this has been an easier way to communicate than sitting and talking. One student who usually avoids group activities chose to sit with peers and build alongside them without any prompting, which was a big moment for us.\r\n\r\nThe Coping Skills Game, feelings mats, and other social emotional tools have become part of our daily routines. We use them during morning check-ins and when students need a break to calm their bodies. These tools give students a clear and concrete way to name how they are feeling and practice strategies to regulate their emotions. We are already seeing students make choices independently and ask for breaks using the visuals, which supports both communication and self awareness.\r\n\r\nThe organization tools and utility cart have also made a big difference in how our classroom runs. Students can now access materials more easily and take responsibility for setting up and cleaning up their own stations. Because of your support, my classroom is more engaging, more accessible, and better suited to the way my students learn. We are continuing to build lessons around these materials, and they will be used daily as we work on independence, communication, and real world skills.
