These materials have transformed our learning environment into a space where students feel excited to explore, ask questions, and take ownership of their learning.\r\n\r\nI have already seen incredible growth in their enthusiasm and participation. Students who were once hesitant are now volunteering to share ideas, collaborating with classmates, and diving into activities with joy. The new resources have allowed me to differentiate instruction more effectively, ensuring every child feels supported and challenged at their level.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, your kindness has shown my students that there are people beyond our classroom who believe in them and their dreams. That message alone is powerful.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our little learners and helping nurture their big dreams. My students have read the books donated multiple times and have asked for more books in the same series! The phonics letter kits have been used to spell new sounds and make new words! Because of your generosity, my classroom now has a warm, inviting space where students can sit comfortably during read alouds and fully immerse themselves in stories. The flexible seating and cozy materials have transformed our carpet area into a true reading community space. We also use the educational reading games during literacy centers, where students practice phonics, sight words, comprehension, and vocabulary in fun and meaningful ways. One special moment that stood out was seeing students choose to stay in the reading corner during free choice time, eagerly flipping through books and practicing their reading skills independently.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students were beyond excited. The stuffed animals were an instant favorite! They now serve as \"reading buddies\" during independent reading and read aloud time. Students love holding their reading buddy while listening to a story or whisper-reading to them, which has especially helped build confidence in my emerging readers. The games immediately increased engagement during centers students view reading practice as something fun and interactive rather than a task.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, I have been able to foster a stronger love of reading in my classroom. The reading corner has created a safe and joyful environment where students feel comfortable taking risks as readers. Our next steps include incorporating partner reading activities with reading buddies and using the games to reinforce comprehension strategies we are learning in whole group lessons. Thank you for helping me create a space that inspires a lifelong love of reading in my students.","fullyFundedDate":1763474852619,"projectUrl":"project/my-little-reading-corner/9661869/","projectTitle":"My Little Reading Corner","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Martinez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10230592"},{"teacherId":10230592,"projectId":9661852,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom learning games project! Because of your generosity, my students now have engaging hands-on games that strengthen their reading, writing, math, and STEM skills in meaningful ways. We use these resources during small group rotations, intervention time, and independent practice. One of my favorite moments was watching students work together during literacy centers, using word building games to create sentences and then writing them in their journals. In math, students eagerly use the hands on games to practice addition, subtraction, and problem-solving. During STEM time, they collaborate to complete building and engineering challenges, strengthening both critical thinking and teamwork.\r\n When the materials first arrived, the excitement in our classroom was incredible! My students' eyes lit up as they explored the new games and tools. They immediately wanted to start playing and learning. Even my more hesitant learners were eager to participate. The interactive and hands on nature of the games has helped boost engagement and confidence, especially for students who benefit from movement and collaboration.\r\n Because of your support, we are continuing to build strong foundational skills across subjects. Our next steps include integrating the games into project-based learning activities, where students will apply reading and math skills to solve real world STEM challenges. My students and I have been using the new resources in exciting ways. We recently started a hands-on project where students rotate through different learning centers using the materials you helped provide. For example, during our reading station, students have been using the new leveled books to practice fluency and comprehension, while at our math center they're using manipulatives to solve word problems together. It has completely transformed the way we learn each day.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, their faces lit up with excitement! They couldn't wait to dive in and explore everything. Many of them said things like, \"This is the best day ever!\" and \"Now I can really practice!\" It was such a joyful moment to see their enthusiasm for learning grow instantly.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our lessons, these resources will help us take our projects even further. My students are currently working on building their writing and math skills, and the tools you provided will continue to support their growth and confidence.
