The markers and erasers I requested have helped us so much. We use them every single day in many areas such as writing letters, numbers, and even making shapes. During centers, the students love using their small whiteboards with the markers and erasers to write and draw in color. These materials have been very helpful in our classroom.\r\n\r\nThe Play-Doh has been used in our Play-Doh Center, where students use it to form letters, numbers, and even their names. It has been very beneficial for helping them practice and improve their fine motor skills.\r\n\r\nThis donation was truly thoughtful, and I really appreciate it. I explained to my students that there are generous people who chose to support us by donating these items. We are trying our best to take good care of everything and keep the markers from drying out. Thank you so much again for your kindness and support.","fullyFundedDate":1757541115511,"projectUrl":"project/building-skills-through-creativity-and-p/9552336/","projectTitle":"Building Skills Through Creativity and Practicing","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Botrs","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10051275"},{"teacherId":10051275,"projectId":9469816,"letterContent":"When we received your generous donation, I explained to my students that a kind and thoughtful person chose to show us empathy and support. We are truly thankful. We use the baby wipes every day after school to help students clean up, and the hand sanitizer is used after every recess as students return to the classroom. My students now understand the importance of sanitizing their hands after using the bathroom or wiping their noses, and this has helped us keep sickness away and maintain a healthy learning environment.\r\n\r\nAs their teacher, I also use the disinfectant wipes daily to clean the tables after students leave, doing everything I can to reduce the spread of germs. Your contribution has already made a significant difference, and I am thrilled to share the impact these new books are having on my students.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom is more than just a time to enjoy a story; it's an opportunity for growth and learning. The new texts are helping us develop a variety of skills—such as critical thinking, comprehension, and empathy—through engaging narratives and diverse perspectives. These books provide fresh material for discussions, allowing my students to connect what they read to their own lives. We're learning how to analyze characters, understand plot development, and express our thoughts clearly. The books are opening doors to new worlds, and students are eager to share their reflections and insights with one another.\r\n\r\nSeveral students, in particular, have been excited to dive into the new collection. One student, in particular, who struggles with reading, has found renewed confidence in the exciting stories, which has motivated them to read more independently. Others are discussing characters and themes in ways I haven't seen before, and their excitement is contagious.
