Your contributions—combined with the amazing momentum from our wider school and donor community—made it possible for us to equip our classroom with iPads, Apple Pencils, and protective cases. These tools have had a truly transformative impact.\r\n\r\nEach of my students faces unique sensory, social, and communication challenges. The iPads opened up new pathways for engagement, learning, and emotional regulation. Students used them to access specialized curriculum like Unique Learning System, explore rich literacy resources through Learning Ally, Epic Books, and Raz Kids, and engage with interactive Common Core math apps. Most importantly, they began to use visual communication tools and emotion-regulation apps that helped them feel centered, supported, and understood throughout the school day.\r\n\r\nIn a small, coastal community like ours, it's not always easy to access the resources we know our students need and deserve. Thanks to you, our class has been able to implement key elements of Universal Design for Learning, helping students with Autism access the general education curriculum in ways that are meaningful and inclusive.\r\n\r\nI've seen students become more independent, more confident, and more engaged—not just with technology, but with their peers and teachers. These tools gave us more than just access to apps—they helped unlock potential, deepen connection, and build bridges between learning styles.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in our students and making this vision a reality. Your kindness has had a lasting ripple effect in our classroom and beyond.","fullyFundedDate":1577829318027,"projectUrl":"project/ipads-for-students-with-autism-universa/4453968/","projectTitle":"iPads for Students with Autism: Universal Access to General Education","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Tomás","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2779644_orig.jpg?crop=1152,1152,x0,y330&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1725024334612","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mr-tomas"},{"teacherId":6427569,"projectId":7860823,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting this project! \r\n I can't thank you all enough for buying these high interest readers.
