Because of you, I was able to teach 23 students in grades 6-8 the basics of knitting, including casting on, the knit stitch and casting off. Students were engaged and challenged, and many of them expressed that they had never learned this type of skill.\r\nAt first, students worried that they would never \"get it,\" but as the class progressed, their skill level grew and by our last session nearly every student was able to knit with confidence! \r\nMany of my students expressed that they plan to continue to pursue this skill, and have requested that we start a knitting club at my school.
