The second screen you donated was absolutely clutch in all CTE instruction during the \"quarantimes.\" I truly don't know how I would have effectively taught medical labs and demonstrations without it. Your generosity made an immense difference during that exceptionally stressful period, and I remain forever grateful.\r\n\r\nMany of our donors use technology at home but may not fully realize how vital it is in a school setting. In my classroom, the second screen allowed for seamless multitasking—displaying live demonstrations, student work, and instructional material side by side. This was especially important for medical labs, where visual clarity and real-time guidance are essential. Instead of flipping between tabs or struggling with a single screen, I could engage students more effectively, making the learning experience smoother and more interactive.\r\n\r\nFor my students, the most exciting part of this new setup was the ability to follow along with precision. Whether it was dissecting a case study, analyzing X-ray images, or demonstrating clinical techniques, they could see everything clearly in real time. It gave them confidence and made remote and in-person learning far more engaging.\r\n\r\nSome students, in particular, thrived with this setup. One student, who struggled with retaining procedural steps, found it invaluable to have a side-by-side view of instructions while practicing skills. Another student, who was hesitant to engage in labs, became more involved once they could visually process techniques with greater clarity. These small but powerful shifts in engagement and understanding were only possible because of the technology you helped provide.\r\n\r\nThank you, truly, for making such an impact. Your generosity reached beyond a single moment in time—it shaped the way my students learned during a period of uncertainty and continues to influence their education today.","fullyFundedDate":1602961872546,"projectUrl":"project/second-screen-for-cte-teacher/5226217/","projectTitle":"Second Screen For CTE Teacher!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ellis","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6745240"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_25168","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":2062,"numTeachers":117,"percentFrplEligible":69,"percentAsian":6,"percentBlack":11,"percentWhite":2,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":76,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"7 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"17.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":61.4,"schoolId":25168,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Bellflower Middle - High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Bellflower Middle - High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/bellflower-unified-school-district/bellflower-high-middle-school/25168"}
