Students have already been hands on with the Chomp Saw. The excitement on their faces when we got it delivered and opened it up for the first time was amazing. The excitement and anticipation of a new tool for their use was the talk of the classroom. My students were eager to try the Chomp Saw out, many were thrilled to see a tool, they recognized from social media in the classroom. They began small with getting familiar with the product and how it works, they cut easy shapes and some even cut out \"6-7's\" to start.\r\n\r\nWe are about to begin our final project which is to build a Roller Coaster. This project comes at the end of our Forces Unit. My students will be using it to help cut their roller coaster parts and it will assist them in construction. We are looking forward to building our Cardboard Roller Coaster Marble Run when they review Forces.\r\n\r\nWe wholeheartedly appreciate your support and the impact it will have on our Special Education students in STEM.","fullyFundedDate":1757957113287,"projectUrl":"project/building-through-stem/9708169/","projectTitle":"Building through STEM!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Gomez Jr","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2927192_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y370&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1743015632097","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2927192"},{"teacherId":2927192,"projectId":9213536,"letterContent":"Thank you for donating to our Middle School Special Education Classroom. From the moment my students saw the Qball, they were intrigued and excited on the new tool being introduced into the classroom. They automatically associated a ball with fun and play.\r\n\r\nOur class is a Science class, so this tool was viewed at a instrument for learning and my students embraced it. We have used it many times already and the look on their faces when it is being tossed around the room is priceless. They are excited to share aloud with their peers, answer questions and they most importantly, they all have a voice and are heard aloud by their peers.\r\n\r\nThis Qball has transformed learning for my students and they are more engaged than ever when it is being used.
