My students got very excited when they saw a Christmas package mysteriously appearing in our class. I told them that we were lucky that they had pick our project to bless us with the gift.\r\n \r\n The students go excited when they saw it was a Set of Toss and Catch Outdoor Balls, they wanted to try them right away and we out for a quick team work lesson with them. They had a blast and enjoyed playing with them. They got to see the responsibility each player had by working as a team to include everyone and play as a group. \r\n\r\n We go over the responsibility that they each have by playing together and making sure everyone has an opportunity to experience the joy of tossing and catching with our velcro paddles. They are always looking forward to go out and enjoy every day. We opened the box together and they were so excited to see the paddles and balls for the game! \r\n\r\nThe students love using the Velcro catch game. I love seeing the excitement on their faces during PE. It's priceless! When we talk about going out to PE, they always want to use the paddles to play catch. Usually, my students are not that excited about going out to PE and sometimes they would rather just stay inside and complete work. But now, they can't wait to have PE just so they can use the paddles. \r\n\r\nRecently, we started working on longer distances for throwing and catching. If they catch the ball three times in a row, they take a step back. They always get very excited when they walk into the classroom and see a package waiting to be opened. My students know that they are special because people want to help them with their learning and to make sure that they have all the school supplies that they need.\r\n\r\nThe students love to \"unbox\" new things. When they walked into the classroom after winter break, they knew it was going to be a special day because they saw the package waiting to be opened. It was just what they needed to start the new year.\r\n\r\nThe students have been working on learning to write in cursive, and they are learning the uppercase and lowercase letters. Once they learn the letters then we will start putting them together to create words, and eventually whole sentences.
