My students are really enjoying the new dough and Pluffle. They use the dough for many activities such as stamping letters and numbers, rolling out letters, using it with our Playdough tools, and creating faces based on emotions such as happy and sad. The children also love playing with the dough to make their own creations such as snakes, robots, people, etc. \r\nAs for the Pluffle, they love it! They have never used it before and they are so enjoying it.\r\nThey enjoy smashing it together and watching it move. They also like the squishy feel of it. I have been putting various manipulatives in with the Pluffle such as ocean animals, and the students like to cover up the animals with the Pluffle. During this time, the students choose what center they want to play at. The puzzle center is always one of the first picked. The children enjoy taking the pieces out and finding where each piece fits. They are always so excited to show me when they have completed a puzzle.
