Without the kindness of Panda Cares, there's no way that I would ever been able to obtain a color printer to make the unique learning items to use in therapy with my students. I've included photos of some of the activities I used the color printer to make. In working with the special ed population, the bright colors and ability to change themes on activities is crucial. Another benefit is the ability to laminate the materials to use year after year.\r\n\r\nYour donation allows me to meet the needs of unique students in my distinct learning community. By constantly being able to change and modify activities using the printer, I am seeing my students motivated and engaged on a whole new level. I just have to say it's very exciting.\r\n\r\nThank you again for the donation Panda Cares, your donation was greatly appreciated.","fullyFundedDate":1739366808167,"projectUrl":"project/communication-in-bold-colors/8968068/","projectTitle":"Communication in Bold Colors","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Battistoni","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6048492_orig.jpg?crop=426,426,x106,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1554226082224","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6048492"},{"teacherId":8709177,"projectId":8610208,"letterContent":"My students are absolutely fascinated with everything that you have helped provide our classroom with. They had such a great reaction to everything as it arrived. The students have been using their new clipboards every day throughout the entire day. Their favorite time to use it is during science. They now have a science center that they completely love and enjoy. They began incorporating science in math and reading. All of the books, science resources, lights and fixtures help build their environment into a creative exposure into critical thinking. \r\n\r\nOur mission was accomplished in making our classroom feel a little bit more like home for these children with a science inspiration. These children are the future, and we want to help instill hope in them as much as possible. They have hope to become better readers and they open their imagination with science. Our next step is to use all of their new resources to help our students creative thinking to continue to grow. It has really encouraged them to share and volunteer their answers in class. It has even allowed my more quiet and reserved students to open up. I love to use some of the smaller items as rewards for students or different class period to compete with each other. They get so excited when they see the treasure box full with other items. They have become so much more engaged.
