I found the fish bottle next to the magnetic letters where someone had matched the letters inside the bottle with the magnetic letters outside the bottle.\r\nI have attached some photos for you so you can see how our curious scientists are discovering:\r\nBottles- We rotate toys frequently to keep interest high, so right now we have 6 bottles related to spring life cycles. The bottles have letters and toys hidden inside them. There are photos on the outside to show kids what they can discover inside. These bottles are really fun for them! I started with 4, but demand was high so I added two more to the current collection! I have saved some bottles to make winter and fall collections too, so we can have fun curiosity bottles all year.\r\nMagnets- The magnets are nothing short of magic for the kids! The look of surprise when they stack magnets on the stand and the magnets do not fall to the bottom is so much fun to watch. Their process of figuring out how to turn magnets so they attract and can be stacked is fascinating, almost like you can see the wheels turning in their minds. \r\nMicroscopes- The microscope makes them really curious! They look at the slide and then look into the microscope, then back and forth to try to figure out how the slide appears so much bigger. They have mostly looked at reptiles and insects under the microscope so far. I was surprised how quickly they learned to look and turn the slides and focus knob to see what they want to see. \r\nTreasure blocks- You can see that right now, during out spring life cycles theme, we have different colored eggs in the treasure blocks. Some kids have asked to put butterflies and ladybugs into the blocks, so we are reserving some blocks until we can find specimens that have already perished. One little boy found a ripening tomato in the school garden this week and thought it was a cocoon we could put inside a block. It was a great observation because the tomato was the right size, shape, and color to be a cocoon, plus it was hanging down from a plant! His discovery and excitement was priceless because it shows just how much he thinks about science (even at recess) and is motivated by the material from your donation. \r\nThank you so very much for sparking the curiosity of our youngest learners and making science so much fun!","fullyFundedDate":1770439409273,"projectUrl":"project/curiosity-center/9852041/","projectTitle":"Curiosity Center","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Brienne","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9460919_orig.png?crop=889,889,x6,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1707176127926","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9460919"},{"teacherId":9460919,"projectId":9510310,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity!
