One of our favorite moments was watching students collaborate while exploring the materials together—taking turns, problem-solving, and using new vocabulary to explain their thinking. The resources have allowed students to engage in hands-on learning that supports fine motor development, early math skills, and language growth, all while learning through play.\r\n\r\nThe excitement was immediate! Students were eager to explore and asked thoughtful questions as soon as the materials were introduced. Many students gathered around, pointing out colors, shapes, and features, and could not wait to try them out. Their enthusiasm showed how motivating it is for them to learn with materials designed specifically for their developmental level.\r\n\r\nNext, students will continue building on these experiences by using the resources during guided lessons and independent exploration. We are focusing on strengthening early academic skills such as counting, sorting, letter recognition, and cooperative play. As students grow more confident, they will be encouraged to explain their thinking, work together to solve challenges, and apply what they've learned to new activities. These resources will continue to support meaningful, joyful learning throughout the year.","fullyFundedDate":1760661088002,"projectUrl":"project/tk-manipulative-library/9696848/","projectTitle":"TK Manipulative Library","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Wu","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10248030_orig.jpg?crop=3648,3648,x0,y972&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1760649861974","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10248030"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_79983","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":604,"numTeachers":26,"percentFrplEligible":56,"percentAsian":30,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":3,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":57,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"23.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":85.7,"schoolId":79983,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Park Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Park Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/alhambra-unified-school-district/park-elementary-school/79983"}
