The anticipation creates a buzz that engages grades k through 8th. When they arrived in our classroom we really saw the excitement on our students' faces. \r\n We anxiously made predictions on when the pupas would appear. The scientific inquiry ran wild. We measured with rulers and observed with hand lenses like real scientists! We are now anxiously awaiting the emergence of our painted ladies to continue the learning with their care.
