Thanks to you, our art room is buzzing with excitement and creativity. The new materials for printmaking, wire sculpture, and ceramics have opened up a whole new world for my students—they're loving it!\r\n\r\nSince then, we've jumped into a few fun projects. One was making wire abstract sculptures—twisting and shaping the wire before covering it with hosiery and painting it with a coat of glue and acrylic paint designs. We've also been working with printmaking, where students designed their own symbols and used carving tools and ink to create a series of prints into a color wheel design. Right now, we're starting a clay project where students will make a pinch pot and design it with glaze. Many of these students have never used this media before and it's been fun to watch them problem-solve, experiment, and express themselves.\r\n\r\nYour donation didn't just give us supplies. You gave my students a chance to try new things, build confidence, and discover just how creative they can be.
