The percussion equipment allowed up to have a fuller sounding and well-rounded percussion section within the ensemble. After a semester of use, some gaps in our inventory were noticed, leading to this campaign to fill those gaps.\r\nStudents need a verity of options and opportunities in their learning, especially when learning instruments. Some instruments are harder or easier to play than others, so having as many options as possible is better for ensuring students find their perfect fit.\r\nAlready I have employed the new wave of instruments. The addition of the Drum Set and Bass Guitar will allow us to learn and perform Jazz pieces. It will also allow them to expand their musical horizon by learning to play different instruments than they already know. It has been a joy seeing them practice their music as a mini-jazz band.
