My students are excited about the new materials. We did get a memo letting us know that our original request was out of stock but I was able to find new things for our classroom! I chose reading cubes, a vocabulary set, and a story sequencing center!\r\n We have started writing stories with a beginning, middle and end in class. The sequencing center has been a huge help with students. They have been able to work together as a team to put the cards in order. They write about the pictures they put in order. We had an excellent time during our block party celebrating our year and using these resources to enahnce our celebration. Students could not believe how big our 4 in a row game was or how many bubbles we were able to provide and use. \r\n\r\nWe were also able to use these supplies for our Kindergarten Kickoff and the families loved seeing the supplies and it helped engage the families together. We had a lot of students that were scared to converse with others but the games and activities allowed them to smile and have fun and slowly talk to each other. \r\n\r\nWe are excited to use these resources again during our block party at the end of this year.
