The students were so excited when the package arrived and realized it was a special treat for them. They then were even more enthusiastic when they realized that they were seat sacks and that they would each get their own. Immediately, students began asking \"Can I put my folder in it? Can I put my headphones in it? Can I put my notebook in it?\" and on and on. Being able to add their names on them is an added bonus, and it's great that they can be exchanged for future student names. Upon putting them on their seats, some of the kids remarked how they're comfortable and it even made their chair feel better!\r\n\r\nThese sacks get so much daily use and have held up tremendously. The tough denim material seems like it should last many years. We use them to store folders, independent reading books, clip boards, white boards, headphones, and more. Our day goes so much smoother because students can merely turn around to grab their things, rather than get up to collect them from a bin. I've even noticed that students are more likely to grab a book now and read when they have a spare minute because they're conveniently located in their seat sack. The table tops are free of clutter and everyone has more space to work because they know they can easily return items to their seat sack, rather than storing them on their desk. The kids love the easy access and that their items are stored individually. It's also a valuable lesson on personal ownership and organization. \r\n\r\nI'm sure these seat sacks will get many more years of use and be loved by all of their future owners. Thank you again for supporting my learners.","fullyFundedDate":1723653272662,"projectUrl":"project/seat-sacks-for-student-success/8553341/","projectTitle":"Seat Sacks for Student Success","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Liberson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6623944_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y262&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1722878774120","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6623944"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_62401","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":598,"numTeachers":35,"percentFrplEligible":29,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":5,"percentWhite":69,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":13,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"17.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":73.9,"schoolId":62401,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Holcomb Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Holcomb Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arkansas/fayetteville-public-schools/holcomb-elementary-school/62401"}
