I've uploaded a couple of pictures of the books I bought through this project in my little library corner (along with some other books I already had). \r\n\r\nI've been a little behind on intentionally pushing students to read more independently (we got new curriculum this year which came in a little over a week before students started back, so I've been largely focused on creating lessons from the curriculum), but I'm planning to start featuring a book of the week in my daily slide show. Hopefully between that and the book club I host on Fridays, students will start showing more interest in my classroom library. The students were so happy when they saw the material. They started immediately choosing material to create their Poppets for their stories. We had some presentations which were so fun and engaging. One of the performances was about \"Super Mr. Spanish\" who was a character like \"Dora the explorer\" and inviting the other students to answer questions in Spanish. The students were so happy to have some instruments to destress and clam their anxiety. The balls were a success but sadly they were destroyed so soon (excessive use of them). \r\nAbout the elastics for the chairs, also they where so happy to have them but also the elastics didn't support the use of the students. Fortunately, there were a lot of them so we replace them soon. Today we are out of them.\r\nThe relive ball was used for only a few of the students but it is also useful to relax a little bit.
