We used the modeling clay and paints to make our desert landscape for our 3D Tucson neighborhood. The adhesive glue allowed us to add the dirt to and rocks to our models to help it look more realistic.\r\n\r\nThe students were super excited to begin creating their cactus with clay and paint them. They painted their houses and had a great time. The students this year will continue our project they will add roads and more houses. The students are using the gloves in the pictures to empty the 3 loads of garden soil and compost so we can start prepping our 4x4 garden beds with soil and plants. They have weeded and marked off our 4x4 garden beds, we will begin to germinate our cover crops and native crops in our garden. \r\n\r\nWe were also able to use the purchased grow lights for our aeroponics tower. We have planted 3 varieties of everbearing strawberries so we can do experiments and tasting of course.
