Once we received our items, I opened the boxes to show the class our new items. They were super excited to get some new crayons, whiteboards and playdough. Students were able to take their old crayons home to use. The new crayons had many more colors for students to use on their classwork. \r\nThe pocket whiteboards we use were looking very torn apart and some had marker spots on them that were not erasable. With the new pocket whiteboards students were able to have nice, neat boards to write on. They were excited to have boards that matched their table colors too. \r\nThe new playdough was a lot of fun and students were able to use the new playdough during math for adding and subtracting. The old playdough as very crumbly and getting dried out. Overall, it was a win for our class and we loved all the new items. We appreciate the new items and it helps our classroom look nice and neat. I never thought that I would receive such a gift for my students. My students are super excited to have new items for their centers. They enjoy centers more now and many of the items are much more engaging that what I previously had.\r\nMy students love the new building items. During Fun Friday, they build towers, houses, and spaceships. All the building helps my students to communicate with one another, learn how to share and take turns and brings out their creative side. They are also working on problem solving skills, if the building keeps falling, what changes can they make to fix the problem. \r\nI was also super excited to receive the storage boxes and they have helped organize my puzzle area and store some of the new centers in a nice organized way. I can't wait to continue to use all these items for as long as I am a teacher and then to pass them on to the next teacher.
