Your contribution has made a meaningful and lasting impact on my students' learning experience, and I am thrilled to share the difference you've made in our classroom.\r\nBefore this project was funded, many of my students were struggling with foundational reading skills. Some lacked access to the materials and support they needed to build strong literacy habits, which can create long-term gaps in their education. As an educator, it was heartbreaking to see students who wanted to learn but didn't have the same opportunities as their peers. I knew that with the right resources, they could thrive—and thanks to your donation, that vision is becoming a reality.\r\nThe Reading Rise project was designed to give all of my students equal opportunities to learn the foundations of reading—phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. With the materials we received through your support, including leveled readers, phonics games, literacy tools, and engaging read-alouds, students are now able to practice reading skills at their own pace and level. These resources are not just tools—they are gateways to confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of reading.\r\nI've already seen tremendous growth. Students who were once hesitant to read aloud are now volunteering during group reading time. Others who previously struggled with decoding words are showing noticeable improvement in both fluency and comprehension. It's clear that having access to the right materials—and knowing that someone believes in their potential—is incredibly empowering for them.\r\nOne student in particular, who entered the year reading below grade level, now greets each new reading activity with excitement. With the help of our new resources, they've made significant progress and have even started helping classmates during peer reading time. Moments like this remind me of the true value of your generosity—not just academic gains, but the growth in confidence, independence, and peer collaboration.\r\nYour donation has helped level the playing field for my students. In a world where educational resources are not always distributed equitably, your kindness has brought us closer to our goal of providing every child with a fair chance to succeed.\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in my students and in the power of literacy. Your support has created a ripple effect that will continue to influence their educational journey for years to come. They told me: \"We are very lucky. Thank you, teacher.\"\r\n In our classroom, we learned about science and social studies every Wednesday, and I noticed we didn't have any materials for that. I looked at the science kits and brought photos to see if my students would like me to order those. They loved the idea, and we ordered them together. They asked me for the kits every day and when we received them, we opened them right away. The first picture you'll see is about them exploring the bone of a Stingray, the starfish, and the great white shark tooth. My students were amazed touching all the parts of the science kit.\r\n\r\n The next picture is about using the 120-number chart. We have been using them four times a week. First, they count by tens, then by ones, and lastly to help with addition and subtraction. My students loved to receive new things and take away the plastic like a present. They also were engaged because of the number's charts, and it helped with the learning making it easier and fun!\r\n The last picture is my special education students playing with the looks and keys finding the correct key for the correct look number. They were having fun and at the same time learning how to identify the correct number. You can also see at the back of the picture the butterfly net with the 5 chrysalises. They were enjoying for a month all the stages of the butterfly. We kept a diary of how they were doing every day. How the little caterpillars were eating and growing. How the caterpillars started making their pupas to transform and become a butterfly. The most exciting part was when one of my special education students noticed the first butterfly trying to go out of a chrysalis. It was a commotion, but we converted it into a learning moment. It was an out-of-mind experience for everybody including me!\r\n All the materials that you provided for my classroom like Math, Science, English, snacks, butterflies, and prices were a blast. My students enjoyed them and have been using them every day.\r\n Thank you so much for your kindness in providing learning materials for teachers, especially new teachers like me that we don't have what we need to do the teach exciting for our students. Because of all your generosity, my students were excited to learn and discover the amazing life of a scientist. Also, my school year was amazing with all the good moments that the money that you gave us provided. \r\n We were working with adjectives, and my students said all the following for you: wonderful, incredible, awesome, surprising, appreciable, brilliant, charming, fabulous, fantastic, friendly, caring, and helpful!\r\nYou make this world a better place!
