The anchor charts have become essential visual references that students rely on during lessons. Whether we're breaking down reading strategies, reviewing math steps, or outlining the writing process, students can simply look around the room for guidance. One memorable moment was during a recent science research project when groups used the anchor charts to organize their thinking and structure their presentations. The visual support helped them work more independently and confidently, and their final projects were more detailed and organized than ever before.\r\n\r\nOur organization bags and crayon boxes have also made a huge difference in how smoothly our classroom runs. Students now keep their materials neatly stored and easily accessible, which has dramatically reduced lost supplies and transition time. We are so much more organized as a class, and the students take pride in maintaining their own materials. When the supplies first arrived, they were especially excited about having their own designated spaces to keep everything in order. It has helped build responsibility and independence in ways I didn't even anticipate.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, the classroom paper has completely changed the feel of our space. Using it on bulletin boards and displays has made the room look cozy, colorful, and welcoming. The students immediately noticed how warm and inviting the classroom felt once everything was set up. It truly feels like a place designed for them! Moving forward, we'll continue using the anchor charts for each new topic and our organizational skills are getting us ready for 4th grade! Thanks to this generous support, our classroom is not only more organized and functional, but also more comfortable and inspiring for every learner.","fullyFundedDate":1768407936539,"projectUrl":"project/ms-ms-3rd-grade/9950518/","projectTitle":"Ms. M's 3rd Grade","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mueller","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8376936_orig.jpg?crop=640,640,x0,y14&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1765215859600","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8376936"},{"teacherId":8360389,"projectId":9878564,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our project, \"Literacy Games: Let's Play Our Way to Reading Success!\" Because of your generosity, my students now have access to engaging literacy games that make learning to read feel exciting, approachable, and fun. We are using these resources during small-group instruction and intervention time to practice phonics, decoding, and fluency skills. One of my favorite moments was watching a student who usually feels hesitant about reading light up when they realized they could play a game and practice reading at the same time...it completely changed their confidence.\r\nWhen the materials arrived, the excitement was immediate. My students couldn't wait to explore the games, and many asked, \"Can we play these every day?\" They were eager to take turns, help one another, and celebrate their successes together. The hands-on nature of the games helped them stay focused and motivated, and it was incredible to see students practicing important reading skills while laughing and encouraging their peers.\r\nThanks to you, our next steps include using these games to reinforce current phonics and reading lessons, track student growth, and build independence during literacy centers. These resources are helping my students develop stronger reading skills while fostering a love of learning, and that impact will last far beyond this school year. Thank you for giving my students the gift of joyful, meaningful learning!","fullyFundedDate":1762822375386,"projectUrl":"project/literacy-games-lets-play-our-way-to-re/9878564/","projectTitle":"Literacy Games: Let’s Play Our Way to Reading Success!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Murphy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8360389"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_126786","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1327,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":10,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":64,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":19,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":65.0,"schoolId":126786,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Silver Valley Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Silver Valley Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arizona/queen-creek-unified-school-district/silver-valley-elementary-school/126786"}
