Their growing confidence in both verbal and writing skills has strengthened their independence and improved their social interactions with peers.\r\nMy students were so excited as we unboxed our donations. The incentives- Playdough, bubble wands keeps them on task throughout the week because they know that on Fridays, they can go to the Prize Box and have Funday Friday where they can have fun centers which is when they play with blocks, Legos and the magna-tiles that was purchased. The bingo daubers, markers, highlighters etc. that they use in the art/writing center is a great addition and they all look forward to going to the writing center now. The book shelf helps me organize the books by the month, the students loved seeing and picking out books that pertained to the month of October/November. Introducing them to a reading/library center encouraged a lot of them to ask their parents to fill out the cards provided by the school so they could go to the Free Public Library. The smiles on their faces when the local librarian came to bring them their personal library card on their own neck lanyard was priceless.\r\nThe impact that this project had on my students has been so meaningful. As their Kindergarten teacher, I look forward to seeing them express their creativity with new and exciting things. As their confidence grows from drawing, I am going to start encouraging the students to begin writing letters, words and punctuation, to start the actual writing process.","fullyFundedDate":1759429641636,"projectUrl":"project/mrs-robinsons-reading-garden-and-writi/9740854/","projectTitle":"Mrs. Robinson's Reading Garden and Writing Center with Incentives","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Robinson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9600015"},{"teacherId":8365975,"projectId":9545510,"letterContent":"I want to sincerely thank you for the donations of the class set of seat sacks.
