Every day requires creativity, flexibility, and a deep commitment to meeting the unique needs of each student. I constantly strive to think outside the box to ensure I deliver the appropriate services and support for their growth.\r\n\r\nAt the beginning of the school year, I set a goal for at least 50% of my students to achieve one grade level of academic growth in numbers and operations subskill. To my amazement and pride, 76% of my students not only met but exceeded this goal, many achieving gains of 3 and up grade levels based on their IEP goals. These remarkable outcomes reflect the power of strategic planning, individualized instruction, and access to the right resources.\r\n\r\nThis progress would not have been possible without the support of this project. It provided my students with the tools and materials necessary to work more independently and confidently. It also helped me plan my lessons more effectively and explore educational apps and strategies that best suit their learning needs. Thank you so much for your support,it has truly made a difference in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1731528037800,"projectUrl":"project/empowered-resources-for-success/8874241/","projectTitle":"\"EmpowerED: Resources for Success\"","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. DEQUINA","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9761772_orig.jpg?crop=950,950,x3,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1726694455443","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9761772"},{"teacherId":5170941,"projectId":9044934,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your contributions to this project! My Middle School students are still working towards perfecting their Mars Colony. The agriculture group is doing a fantastic job researching the nutrients the colonists will need to survive, as well as growing many, many tomatoes. (Like, a lot of tomatoes!) My Architecture group is working diligently on creating the colony. They created a Lego prototype and are now building a scale model. My engineers had a bit of a rough start, but are working on learning how to code in Arduino using the 30 days lost in space kit. Soon they will be ready to apply their knowledge to meet the mechanical needs of the colony. \r\n\r\nThis project encouraged the students to think critically and work through problem-solving as a team.
