The flexible seating options have made such an impact on the students' ability to move around the room during stations and independent work, so they can focus and collaborate with peers. The cushions have been great during independent reading and the wobble stools and chairs are a great addition to the small group, guided reading table. Students are advocating for themselves and asking for seating that best supports their needs. \r\n\r\nWith third grade preparing for state testing the sequined sensory mat, headphones, \r\nweighted blanket, foot roller, stress fidgets and texture strips have helped to relieve some anxiety about testing not only with the state test, but just for stressful daily moments.\r\n\r\nI've really enjoyed offering challenge activities for extensions with the math games and manipulatives during small group instruction. All of these tools have helped to motivate and support my scholars to give their best effort each day. This couldn't have been possible without your generous donation.
