Your generosity helped us purchase laminators and sets of dry-erase markers— simple tools that are already transforming learning in our classroom.\r\n With the laminator, I have been able to create durable reading response cards, comprehension task boards, vocabulary games, and station materials that students can use again and again. This has not only saved valuable class time but has also allowed me to build consistent, reusable resources that support students with varying reading levels. Students especially love the laminated words they used for reading practices. \r\n The dry-erase markers have become a daily staple in our small-group and whole-group reading activities. Students use them during small group intervention, word-study warm-ups, and team problem-solving challenges that accompany our Read to Lead activities. Because they can write, erase, and try again without fear of making a mistake, students are more confident, more engaged, and far more willing to take risks as readers and thinkers.\r\nYour support has made our classroom more interactive, more creative, and more student-centered. Most importantly, it has given my students tools that help them see themselves as capable leaders and learners. The donated items are making an enormous impact on how I teach the students and how they are learning. Students understand the content much better than in years past. The hands-on experiences that the students have had will be memorable. Students are looking forward to experiencing and learning science.\r\n\r\nUsing the materials has allowed the students to be real scientists. The students have been able to investigate and explore through experimentation. They have learned the scientific method, and the need for testing and redesigning their experiments to be successful. Students have had opportunities to make mistakes and learn from their mistakes to become better scientists. \r\n\r\nYou have made a huge difference by donating the materials. The students have had wonderful hands-on learning opportunities. We are anticipating that our experiences in science will continue to be invaluable to the students throughout the school year. I knew it would take someone special to realize that the little things in a classroom mean so much.\r\n\r\nWe use a lot of wet paint, but all the kids in my class love the paint sticks. The dry time is instant, meaning they can take home their creation right away! And they do not have to use a smock. They have learned to mix colors to create new ones, like mixing blue and red to make purple. For this, I am so grateful!\r\n\r\nAs for the tape; \r\nWow! Tape is the best thing in the Art Area. This is where their imagination and creativity come to life! They make so many different things by taping supplies together. like people, animals, shapes, and pretend toys. Pulling, tearing, and placing tape are important skills for sharpening their fine motor skills. They love to tape their art around the classroom.
