The copy paper, filler paper, construction paper, and storage organizer are being used constantly in our classroom, whether for note-taking, creative projects, or hands-on activities.\r\n\r\nOne special moment came when my students saw the stacks of brightly colored construction and copy paper. Their eyes lit up immediately—they began imagining how they could use the colors for diagrams, interactive notebook activities, and creative science foldables. For many of them, simply having choices of materials made the classroom feel more welcoming and engaging.\r\n\r\nWe've already put these supplies into action during our life science unit. Students used the colored paper to build food chain models, foldable organizers of the human body systems, and vocabulary charts that help them remember tricky science terms. The storage organizer makes it easy for them to access materials independently, which also teaches responsibility and organization.\r\n\r\nThe reactions have been heartwarming—students are more motivated to work, and they take pride in the neatness and creativity of their notebooks and projects. They've even started suggesting their own science-art connections, which shows me how much ownership they feel over their learning.\r\n\r\nNext, my students will be using these supplies to prepare interactive review materials for our upcoming quarter test. They'll create fold-out study guides, colorful posters, and comparison charts—all using the paper and organization tools you provided. These projects will not only strengthen their understanding but also give them a sense of achievement as they showcase their work.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, my students have the simple tools that make a big difference in their day-to-day learning. Your generosity has brought more creativity, color, and excitement into our classroom, and for that, we are truly grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1758501313335,"projectUrl":"project/paper-power-organized-creative-and-re/9534810/","projectTitle":"Paper Power: Organized, Creative, and Ready to Learn!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Quinilitan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9042843_orig.jpg?crop=360,360,x102,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1742773999550","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9042843"},{"teacherId":9042843,"projectId":9534546,"letterContent":"When the boxes arrived, my students were so excited—they couldn't wait to see what was inside! The privacy screens, gloves, timers, glue guns, and even the drying rack quickly became class favorites.\r\n\r\nOne fun moment was using the core balance tool during our science lesson. The kids loved turning it into a challenge, and the stopwatches made them feel like real scientists collecting data. The glue guns and drying rack have already been put to good use in our STEM projects, helping students bring their creative designs to life.\r\n\r\nThese resources have made our classroom feel more focused, safe, and hands-on. My students are already brainstorming ways to use them for our next design challenge, and I can't wait to see their ideas.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for making science exciting and real for my students!","fullyFundedDate":1755711055096,"projectUrl":"project/focused-safe-and-ready-to-explore/9534546/","projectTitle":"Focused, Safe, and Ready to Explore","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Quinilitan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9042843_orig.jpg?crop=360,360,x102,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1742773999550","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9042843"},{"teacherId":9042843,"projectId":9102154,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous support, our classroom is ready to kick off the new school year with an incredible new resource! Over the summer, we received the life-sized human torso model, and I've already begun planning engaging, hands-on lessons that will bring our 7th grade anatomy unit to life. This model will give students the opportunity to explore human biology in a tangible, interactive way—helping them connect with the material beyond the pages of a textbook.\r\n\r\nI can't wait to see my students' reactions when they walk into the classroom and see the torso model for the first time. I know it will spark immediate curiosity and excitement. Many of our students are visual and tactile learners, and this tool will make it easier for them to grasp complex ideas like how organs work together in body systems. It's going to make science more accessible—and a lot more fun.\r\n\r\nThis fall, we'll be using the model to launch a project where students investigate different organ systems and present their findings to the class. They'll get hands-on experience identifying organs, understanding their functions, and learning how they all fit together—literally and conceptually. Your donation is setting the stage for deeper understanding, increased engagement, and maybe even some early inspiration for future doctors and scientists. When my students first saw it, their eyes lit up with wonder. Some ran to name bones they recognized, while others couldn't wait to explore how the skeleton connected to our lessons on body systems.\r\n\r\nWe're currently diving into human anatomy, and this model has transformed our unit into an interactive experience. Instead of just reading about the skeletal system, students now stand side by side with it, identify key bones, and physically trace the connections between body parts. It has sparked curiosity and deepened their understanding far beyond what textbooks alone could provide.\r\n\r\nNext, we'll be creating \"Body System Journals,\" where students map out each system with detailed diagrams, using the model as a visual reference. This hands-on connection is making science come alive for them in unforgettable ways.\r\n\r\nFrom all of us in Blue Ridge Junior High School, thank you for bringing this incredible resource into our learning journey!","fullyFundedDate":1746747616536,"projectUrl":"project/bringing-anatomy-life-skeletal-system-m/9100952/","projectTitle":"Bringing Anatomy Life: Skeletal System Model for Hands-On Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Quinilitan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9042843_orig.jpg?crop=360,360,x102,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1742773999550","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9042843"},{"teacherId":9042843,"projectId":9005814,"letterContent":"Thank You for Bringing Science to Life in Our Classroom!\r\n\r\nI am beyond grateful for your generosity in supporting our 7th-grade life science classroom! Recently, my students worked on a hands-on project where they built 3D models of cells, reinforcing their understanding of structure and function in a fun and creative way!
