The children especially enjoy building a 'dinosaur zoo' with the various dinosaur toys that were donated, and other classroom items such as wooden blocks and/or magnetic block shapes. The children were so excited when I unboxed the dinosaurs and have used them ever since. They are very curious to learn more about real dinosaurs, now that they've had experience playing with dinosaur toys. \r\n\r\nMy students have also been using the snap cubes that were donated. The day I unboxed the snap cubes, I had the entire class volunteer to take the cubes apart and help me place them into plastic boxes that we use during math time. I have had the class use the snap cubes for counting, sorting, creating patterns and so many other things during math time. \r\n\r\nThe next steps for using the donated resources is to teach/learn the science behind how read dinosaurs lived, and to continue using the snap cubes for various math activities.","fullyFundedDate":1753513407546,"projectUrl":"project/math-and-science-exploration/9426480/","projectTitle":"Math and Science Exploration","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. LaRock","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8364276_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1704754727540","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8364276"},{"teacherId":8364276,"projectId":9061682,"letterContent":"My students have been using the headphones since the day they arrived.
