Utilizing the alternate seating has been great for students to maintain their focus on their work.\r\n\r\nFor social emotional learning, every day we go through the posters and what self-coping techniques can be utilized not only in class but anywhere they go. The emotion chips have also helped tremendously as students are learning that not everyone feels the same way that they do. Each student takes a turn and talks about how they feel and why. It has changed their mood throughout the rest of the day. It has helped for our students to learn more empathy towards each other.\r\n\r\nLastly, the chair bands, light covers, and all other classroom supplies have helped our students with feeling more comfortable throughout the day.
