We were able to learn how to move the magnetic dots, one for each sound, and then blend our sounds. We will add writing letters to match the sounds next. Having a quiet space to retreat has helped a couple of my students and the class as a whole. The tent can become hot inside but it's still helpful for some situations. \r\n\r\nThe students will ask for a moment to themselves and as long as we're not too long, or avoiding a task, I don't mind at all. \r\n\r\nIt's really be very helpful for us all!","fullyFundedDate":1742008863276,"projectUrl":"project/a-safe-place-to-reset/9150352/","projectTitle":"A Safe Place to Reset","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Neal","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9825871_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1730762529381","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9825871"},{"teacherId":9821037,"projectId":9228366,"letterContent":"When the new resources arrived, my students' faces absolutely lit up. One student proudly said, \"Now we can do this just like the big schools!\"\r\n\r\nSince then, we've been putting the materials to use daily. For example, in our Health class we recently started our anatomy lessons, and this new equipment gave every student a chance to shine. The confidence they showed—and the way they cheered each other on—was a direct result of having the right tools in their hands.\r\n\r\nYour generosity gave my students more than just resources; it gave them opportunities to learn, grow, and believe in themselves. The next step for us is to expand these activities into a full unit on fitness goals, where students will track their progress and set personal milestones. This will give them a sense of ownership over their learning and a deeper connection to lifelong health.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving us the chance to dream bigger and do more—you've made a lasting impact on our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1745595100682,"projectUrl":"project/how-the-body-works/9228366/","projectTitle":"How the Body Works","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Becker","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9821037_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1730408021729","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9821037"},{"teacherId":3949291,"projectId":9142979,"letterContent":"On behalf of our students and staff in grades 1–3, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of chair pockets.
