With that, I want to thank you for the snacks for my classroom. The students loved them and it made their day brighter. The veggie straws were the hit and students really enjoyed them. I appreciate your generosity and in supporting my students.\r\n In the afternoon, after P.E., while students cool down, students are given snacks like veggie straws, That's It, and trail mix. By the time they sit after P.E, they are hungry. So, that is the time, students eat snacks before moving on to the next subject. The snacks give them energy to focus on the rest of the lessons before dismissal.\r\n In the beginning, when I took out veggie straws, students were excited to eat something different other than crackers. They were sitting quietly savoring the veggie straws. The elementary school was able to implement the soccer equipment very quickly as part of their educational component in the months of November, December, and early January. You could also witness the excitement and happiness of the students when they observed so so many new soccer balls in the gymnasium. The gym teacher was also very appreciative to receive the soccer equipment and they used it almost every day. Even now, the younger students look for the soccer balls during recess. Some of the benefits of practicing soccer is the mental/emotional, educational, and physical impacts of engaging in the sport. Physical Impact: Fundamental Motor Development - Equipment supports the development of motor skills, coordination, and physical health, which are essential for healthy brain development during rapid growth years. Educational Impact: Improved Cognitive Performance - Physical activity through soccer is linked to increased concentration, better memory, and improved cognitive function, which facilitates easier academic learning. Mental and Emotional Impact: Confidence and Self-Worth - Having proper gear—from cleats to balls—builds self-esteem and confidence, providing a foundation for children to face broader life challenges. Lastly, there is social connectivity, which reduces anxiety and stress and provides a social outlet for children.
