They were all very excited when they learned that they were going to be able to play ukuleles this year, as they asked me constantly last year when it would be possible for them. Our current steps right now with our ukuleles are to begin our unit learning how to hold, strum and play a few chords. One specific project that we are working towards with my older classes is playing a song in a small group.
