Puzzles, Jenga, and Legos are used after checkout or as a reward, encouraging collaboration, problem-solving, and positive social interactions. Many students who were previously wandering around the library are now choosing the cozy corner to read or interact positively with peers.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the materials, they were beyond excited and eager to use the space right away. They described the library as \"calm,\" \"happy,\" \"colorful,\" and \"comfortable,\" and it has quickly become a favorite spot. Moving forward, we will continue using the cozy corner as part of our daily library routine by building reading stamina, sharing book recommendations, and participating in small-group discussions. Students then had the opportunity to show on a map the places they would enjoy seeing and exploring in person. We all had an amazing time learning from one another, and it was an excellent learning opportunity. Each station focused on a different skill—problem-solving, reading comprehension, creative exploration—and students were fully engaged the entire time. One memorable moment was watching a group of students confidently take charge of their station and teach their peers using the new tools; it was a powerful example of how these resources promote teamwork and independence.\r\n\r\nHow did your students react when they first saw the materials?\r\n\r\nTheir faces lit up! Many of them immediately asked, \"Are these for us?!\" They were excited, curious, and eager to dive in. They'll plan, build, and demonstrate their ideas using the new tools, which will help them develop not only academic skills, but also communication, collaboration, and creative thinking.
