The jackets have been distributed to students in the Phoenix and Star Programs who needed them most, and the difference has been immediate. One student shared that he used to avoid going outside in the mornings because he didn't have a proper coat. Now, he arrives on time, comfortable, and ready to begin the day. Instead of focusing on the temperature, our students are focusing on their lessons.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nWith this basic need met, we are continuing our work in academic recovery, small-group instruction, and social-emotional skill building. Star Program students are progressing toward earning credits and staying on track for graduation, while Phoenix students are developing the structure and support they need to thrive.
