The students here at Asbury Elementary School were so excited when the books arrived. They couldn't wait to get their hands on them to start reading. The impact of your donations will be lasting for years to come. The Wild Robot was definitely a fan favorite. Even our 5th grade teachers were excited to have a copy available in the library for them to be able to check out and do a fun book study with their class. You have certainly enhanced the quality of our library. You are not just donating money, you are helping 24 students become better readers. The benifit to a class set of books is that every one has their own copy as we read, and it allows us to do a book study together over a period of weeks. That is what \"Mercy Watson Fights Crime\" and Mercy Watson Princess in Disquise\" are being used for. The larger Mercy Watson books are being used as read-alouds with whole group. I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for your generous donation to my DonorsChoose project, Literacy Love in the Library. Your support truly makes a difference in our classroom and the lives of my students.\r\n\r\nThanks to your kindness, we can begin to bring a love of reading to our students. During library class time, a student is chosen at random to get to be our special reader. In the donations made, were plush toys that pair with the book,The Good Seed and The Bad Egg. Both books are a huge hit with our students. The special reader for that day can choose to read a story out loud or sit with the plush toy and use it as a reading buddy. Students more often than not choose to use them as a reading buddy.\r\n\r\n It's wonderful to have such dedicated supporters like you who believe in the power of education.Your contribution not only helps us with our immediate needs but also inspires my students to dream big and work hard. They are thrilled to see their classroom transformed, and I can't wait to share the amazing results with you!\r\n\r\nThank you once again for your commitment to education and for believing in our mission.
