When the Ozobots arrived, the room buzzed with curiosity and laughter as students watched the tiny robots respond to their color codes and commands. It was pure joy seeing their faces light up when their code actually worked!\r\n\r\nThe Ozobots make coding come alive — students are learning logic, sequencing, and problem-solving through hands-on exploration. They design mazes, create stories, and collaborate to debug and improve their programs.\r\n\r\nOne student who was often hesitant to share ideas has become our \"Ozobot engineer,\" proudly helping classmates troubleshoot their robots. These moments show how technology builds confidence as well as skills.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, my students are learning that technology isn't just something to use — it's something they can create with. You've helped spark curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning that will carry far beyond our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1757953909296,"projectUrl":"project/tiny-robots-big-thinkers/9425106/","projectTitle":"Tiny Robots, Big Thinkers!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Griffith","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9397213_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1750432352634","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/whes-gate"},{"teacherId":9397213,"projectId":9425536,"letterContent":"When our new VEVOR locking cabinet rolled into the room, my students could hardly contain their excitement. They gathered around like it was a brand-new robot! It wasn't what was in the cabinet that amazed them — it was what it would do for the robots they love. They were so eager to get started that I barely finished unboxing it before they were asking, \"Can we organize everything today?\" Soon, they were sorting cables, labeling shelves, and proudly finding the perfect spot for every Dash, Sphero, and charger.\r\n\r\nNow, our robotics corner feels like a real makerspace. Everything has a home, and every student can access what they need without digging through bins or asking, \"Where's the charger?\" They love rolling the cabinet to different work areas and collaborating with other classes — it's become a symbol of independence and creativity.\r\n\r\nThe USB charging station has been another big win. No more tangled cords or dead robots when it's time to code! The classroom just runs smoother, and the kids take pride in keeping everything charged and ready to go.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students are not only learning to build and code — they're learning responsibility, teamwork, and how to take care of shared resources. You didn't just help us organize supplies; you helped us create a space where curiosity and creativity can thrive every single day.","fullyFundedDate":1755731731019,"projectUrl":"project/lock-it-roll-it-code-it/9425536/","projectTitle":"Lock It, Roll It, Code It!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Griffith","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9397213_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1750432352634","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/whes-gate"},{"teacherId":9895508,"projectId":9066887,"letterContent":"When my students first saw the calm-down area we created, they were so excited! In addition to the calm-down area being a calm, quiet space for students to calm down, it has also become a place for students to relax and take a break if they have completed their work for the day. \r\n\r\nThe students seem to like the sensory balls the most. They enjoy squeezing them, comparing them, sharing them and taking turns to find out which ones they like best. The rug is very soft and reminds the students of grass. The bean bag chair is already broken in and as comfy as ever. \r\n\r\nWhen I do have students that need to use the calm-down area for its intended purpose, they tend to calm-down rather quickly and are returning to work and activities much faster. \r\n\r\nThanks again so much for donating to my project.
