You would've thought it was a holiday! They were especially excited about the dry-erase boards and algebra manipulatives tools they've never had access to before. One student exclaimed, \"We get to solve the problems now instead of just writing them?\" That moment reminded me exactly why these resources matter.\r\n\r\nWe recently used the supplies during a unit on solving multi-step equations. Instead of just practicing problems on paper, students used the algebra tiles to model equations, physically moving pieces to isolate variables. The engagement skyrocketed—students who usually hesitate were suddenly leading discussions and explaining their thinking to classmates.\r\n\r\nRight now, we're diving into linear functions. With the new graphing tools, students are plotting real-world data and making connections between equations, graphs, and stories. Our next step is a project where they'll analyze patterns from everyday life—like tracking classroom temperatures or charting personal goals—and turn them into equations and graphs.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, our math lessons are now full of movement, collaboration, and confidence.
