The squat wedges in particular have been a game-changer-several students who struggle to hit proper depth on squats because of ankle mobility or past injries are now able to get into a full, comfortable position with the right form. Watching a student go from wobbling through a half-squat to confidently locking out a full rep with good technique is exactly the kind of progress that keeps me coaching. \r\n\r\nAs the year progresses, I'll keep using the squat wedges to help more athletes build strength safely, which directly translate to more powerful, injury-resistant sprinters. The ability to modify the hurdles allows us to break down movements, reinforce proper form, and reduce fear or hesitation — especially for beginners. More experienced athletes can challenge themselves with advanced drills that improve rhythm, coordination, mobility, and speed.\r\n\r\nThese hurdles have expanded our training possibilities. We are now able to incorporate a wider variety of drills that develop explosiveness, stride efficiency, and body control. Many carefully explored the supplies, commenting on the quality and imagining what they could create. That excitement quickly turned into focus and engagement as they began planning how to represent data using color, shapes, and design choices.\r\n\r\nUsing the new resources, students created data art pieces that combined analytical thinking with creativity.
