For many of them, it's the first time they've seen their language and culture represented in the books we read together. It's been a powerful experience — one that builds confidence, pride, and curiosity.\r\n\r\nWe use these books during read-alouds, in our classroom library, and even during small group lessons. They've become some of our favorite stories to share. We can also use them to do whole group interactive writing and math activities. Mr. Sketch scented twistable crayons are just so fun to use for stations. \r\nThe Clorox disinfectant wipes have came in so much use as my kinder students eat breakfast and snack in our classrooms and their tables can get sticky or dirty.
