Students are utilizing the crash pad for movement breaks and for emotional regulation. It helps redirect strong emotions and has a calming effect for students when upset or overstimulated.\r\n\r\nWhen the crash pad first arrived, students were in awe (and so were the teachers!). If you haven't seen a crash pad before, it is like a giant squishy pillow/bean bag combination. It is a safe space to jump or \"crash\". It's also a great space for just lounging when a student needs some quiet time.\r\n\r\nI am so grateful for your contributions and collaboration with my classroom. It is because of people like you that FLS is successful.
